Yeah, I actually hated the game at first, but after spending some time with it, it grew on me pretty quickly.
The hardest part is getting used to the grab controls. My kids picked it up pretty quickly. It's intuitive in theory (left trigger, left arm), but its such an unnatural way of moving a character at first.
(The rag doll physics are pretty hilarious at times, though)
